Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary is a private undergraduate and graduate institution located in Ankeny, Iowa.
In 1921, Dr. William H. Jordan, pastor of Third Presbyterian Church of Omaha, Nebraska founded Omaha Bible Institute as a nondenominational school for the purpose of training Christian workers for the ministry. He continued as the school's president for many years.
In the 1960s, the college outgrew its Omaha facilities, relocated to its present campus in Ankeny, and changed its name again to Faith Baptist Bible College. In the 1980s, declining enrollment at Denver Baptist Bible College caused DBBC and FBBC to merge. FBBC also added the seminary at that time.Dr. James Maxwell III will assume the role of president on July 1, 2007.
